Author and curator Vicki Matranga has researched Chicago’s design history since the 1990s. Get introduced to designers who served clients in consumer, commercial and industrial markets during 1920-1970. Early Chicago designers, some with little formal education but with entrepreneurial ambition, created products that solved problems of their times. Their work can inspire and influence you in your career as you develop solutions for today’s needs.
