The MainStreet Speakers Series is a community lecture series that provides an open forum for the exchange of ideas, opinions and perspectives. The Series is presented each fall and spring semester and generously sponsored by NorthStar Bank.
The Speakers Series is held at The University of Tampa on the 9th floor of the Vaughn Center which overlooks beautiful downtown Tampa. The series is open to the public, although advance registration and payment is requested.

Hear the story of Sykes Enterprises from the father son duo who have not only built one of Tampa’s largest publically traded companies but have also provided The University of Tampa’s College of Business with its campus home. Both John and Chuck Sykes have had successful business careers but have also been and continue to be philanthropic role models.
