When the son of civil rights hero, Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, dives into the 400 year history of institutional racism in America he is confronted with the uncomfortable truth of his family’s part in it. The Uncomfortable Truth, a new film by Utah filmmaker Loki Mulholland, is an insightful exploration of the origins and history of racism in America through one man’s family story.

Please join us on Thursday, October 26th for this powerful screening and discussion with civil rights hero Joan Trumpaurer Mulholland and filmmaker Loki Mulholland. Doors to the studio will open at 6:30 pm and light refreshments will be served.

Guests will check in at the front doors of the BYU Broadcasting building upon arrive and must be at least 8 years old to attend. By way of BYU Broadcasting policy, no backpacks will be allowed in studio and purses and handbags will be suject to a security check.
