Course Goal
Learn the facts and fiction about solar power technologies used in our area.

Course Description
This course will look at the history of solar technology and where it's headed in the future. We will talk about,

  • the types of systems used in our region over the past 30 years and which technologies are most effective and applicable today;
  • net metering policy and recent changes to it;
  • popular financing methods, including "no money down" type programs;
  • recent case study data with real system production numbers.

There will be a PowerPoint presentation with plenty of room for Q&A. If you're interested in solar power and/or would like to learn more about the latest systems and their applications, we hope you will register for this class. Refreshments provided.

Amos Post is co-owner of Integrity Energy, Solar Professionals, in East Bethel, VT. He holds NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification and has more than15 years of experience designing, installing, and servicing solar energy systems.
