FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Anyone can ride in The Tree House Tour de Cookie! Children must be accompanied by an adult. We recommend that children participate only in the short route. It is the safest route since it is mainly on the Millenium Trail. Our other routes include more road riding and are better suited for experienced/older cyclists.
How do team members get the team discount rate?
Once a team reaches 10 adult registrants, each adult rider will receive a $5 refund. At that time the team captain will also be given a code to give to future team members so they may receive the discount at the time they register. TEAM MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE TO RIDE THE SAME ROUTE.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is plenty of parking at the Johns Hopkins University, Montgomery County Campus. The closest metro stop is Shady Grove and that is 6 miles away.
What should I bring to the event?
Bring your bike, ID, helmet, water bottle, friends, and a happy outlook.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
