Event description
Ride the elevator to seven levels of theatrical performances, from a live screaming room to tarot, wicked rock and Betelgeuse himself.

About this Event

Dim the lights and pour yourself a drink at 6pm, then ride the elevator of doom to any one of several levels in our Tower of Terror. From goth rock to a psychic medium, a séance room to an artists’ boutique, a “screaming” room to the dark sounds of our dead DJ. There are many levels to explore, and different artists to encounter at different times. A schedule of events will be made available one week before the event to help you plan your route.

The two-night event will be streamed live online from the ETP website, RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 16+.

Our featured event at The Tower of Terror is A HAUNTING, an interactive choose-your-experience story performed by local actors and written by ETP Artistic Director Alisa Stewart (The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde). Upon entering the world of A Haunting, YOU make the decisions for the paranormal investigators as the enter a very spooky – and very haunted – Victorian mansion called Holloway House. But be careful! One wrong turn and you could become the next ghost haunting the mansion. The further into the story you go, the more choices are presented. And if your choice winds up in your untimely demise, there will be ways to get back into the game, or start the story all over again.

This is a PAY WHAT YOU CAN event. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 theatre company. ALL money collected will benefit the artist performers and the crew working behind the scenes to make the magic happen on your screen. We would love to continue bringing you live events during this time of COVID-19, so whatever you are able to donate, we will happily accept to keep the magic rolling along.

Q. How will I access the event?

A. You will be able to view the event via our secret entryway on our website plus a passcode. Both of these items will be emailed to you on the morning of the event. If you do NOT receive this information after you have registered for the event, be sure to drop us an email at

Q. What should I expect at this event?

A. After you click on the link and enter your passcode, you will find yourself in an online interactive world. Click to enter the building, and find yourself in the dark, decaying lobby, (there are a few easter eggs in the lobby to find, should you wish to hunt for them). A schedule will also be posted on the wall so you can see what each floor has to offer in the tower.

You will be encouraged to enter the elevator located at the far end of the lobby room, inside of which you will choose a floor and the elevator will take you there. Each floor offers something different, and at different times. Please be careful about exploring the basement. Nobody returns from there....

Q. Is this event actually free?

A. This event is pay what you can, with a recommended donation of $15 per person. We are a nonprofit 501c3 theatre company. All money collected will benefit the artists who are performing, and the crew who is working behind the scenes to keep the tech up and running. If you are able to donate $15, we appreciate it, but if you can only afford $5, that is okay too. And if this COVID-19 thing is kicking your butt and just need a free show to watch on Halloween, that is OK too. Give us a donation when you can afford it!

Q. How long does the event run?

A. The event will last approximately three hours.

Q. Is the event the same each night or should I attend both nights to catch everything?

A. Glad you asked! Each night is slightly different, with one night featuring one set of performers, and the other night another set of performers. There is some crossover. We do encourage you to attend BOTH NIGHTS in order to take in ALL of the fun artistic work done by our live local artists.

Q. Is this a ZOOM event or something else?

A few artists will be taking over Zoom feeds in order to converse with you directly, but most of the artists will be performing a live stream to a secret YouTube channel that you may view via the Experience Theatre Project website.

Q. Can I watch the show on my phone or my tablet?

A. Yes, you can view the show on your phone or tablet, but the production is best viewed on a larger screen, preferably a PC or Mac browser as the details may get rather small.

Feel free to contact us directly at if you have any questions.
