The Tower of Light You Gone Learn About the Harlem Renaissance Today

The Tower of light is an immersive pop-up contemporary art, pop art and abstract art and photography exhibition with installations showing over 20 Black and Brown, multi-media artists. World renowned and emerging artists have collaborated for Black History month 2022 to show pieces that display Black in all it’s beauty. This interactive set has work shown through retro View Masters, a telescope, a Kaleidoscope, Film and more. Created and produced bi-coastal multi dimensional artist and entertainer, Shay Renee, these shows transform how viewers interpret art in a multi-sensory setting which evokes a black oasis.

The Tower of Light takes you to the Harlem Renaissance. With highlights of artists like Josephine Baker and Aaron Douglas this interactive exhibit emulates the feeling of The Dark Tower of Harlem. Viewers are given a set inspired by the home of the “Heiress of Harlem” with photography, NFT’s and other forms of today’s visuals. This show is a look back in time to encourage our society to continue to push forward in a time of uncertainty.
