Event description

Description

The Three Questions is a journey of directed self-discovery, a fresh blend of yoga, the meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Western and Eastern philosophy designed to help us better relate to and act in our world.

In this one-day program, we'll visit and explore the Imperial City, our metaphor for the human experience. Each area of the Imperial City relates to a deeply held human need, such as vision and courage, emotional and physical nourishment and nurturing, and intimate relationship. Through this workshop, we'll become familiar with how we have manifested these needs, and how we hope to manifest them into the future.

This workshop will use the Yin elements of the practice. The Yin practice involves holding postures for a medium length of time (between 2 to 5 minutes). These postures are held with little muscular engagement, with a goal of creating a dull ache in the body. This dull ache acts as an anchor for our attention, helping us to remain present with our body and its sensation. The three questions are used in each posture to explore our awareness.

This program is intended for people with all levels of familiarity with the Three Questions practice, from none to advanced. We have limited it to 12 people to ensure an intimate and supportive atmosphere.
