The Teachings of Ch'an Master Sheng-Yen
Event Information
About this Event
Master Sheng-Yen (1931-2009) was a Chinese Buddhist master who established the Dharma Drum Monasteries. His teaching are relevant today, as they inform us of the necessity to practice Zen Mind at all time, in all circumstances. He said, “Ch’an (Zen) is practice, action, existence, and none of these things. It cannot be described.” We will explore obstacles and problems that we encounter in our spiritual practice on a daily basis, and methods to deal with these.
