The Tanner Taylor Trio plays Erroll Garner

Tanner Taylor studied under Jack Oatts and Manhattan School of Music’s Garry Dial. Taylor is an in-demand pianist throughout the Midwest, actively performing in the Omaha, Minneapolis, Des Moines, and Kansas City music scenes. Taylor has performed with jazz notables such as Clark Terry, Slide Hampton, Lew Tabackin, David “Fathead” Newman, Steve Turre, Wycliffe Gordon, Wes “Warm Daddy” Anderson, Dick Oatts, Eric Alexander, Bobby Shew, Steve Smith, Jaleel Shaw, Delfeayo Marsalis, Barbara Morrison, and Randy Brecker. Taylor was inducted into the Iowa Jazz Hall of Fame in October, 2022.

Graydon Peterson is one of the backbones of the jazz scene in the Twin Cities. Known as a guy who excels at many styles, Graydon has played with the Twin Cities’ top jazz singers and modern jazz groups, and has toured around the United States and Cuba. Graydon's unique and groove-based compositions can be heard with his own quartet, the Graydon Peterson Quartet, and the trio Firebell. Graydon has worked and collaborated with Francisco Mela, Babatunde Lea, Adam Meckler, Nancy Harms, and Chris Morrissey, and continues to be a nightly presence in the Twin Cities.

Jay Epstein has put in several decades performing, recording and touring in this jazz game. After college, he studied polyrhythmic concepts in Manhattan with Barry Altschul, the drummer in Chick Corea's Circle, lived in Hollywood, Oklahoma City, Montana, Miami, Minneapolis, and played in house bands for five years on several cruise ship lines. Did seven European tours with pianists Bill Carrothers and Giacomo Aula, shared a few choruses with Rocky Robbins, Barney Kessel, Roseanna Vitro, Manfredo Fest, Sheila Jordan, Terry Gibbs, Greg Abate, Claudio Roditi, Gary Foster, Eric Alexander, Richie Cole, JoAnne Brackeen, Ernie Watts, Wayne Johnson, Karrin Allyson, Kenny Werner, Howard Levy, Bruce Henry, Toots Thielemans, Avashai Cohen, Bob Dorough, and Sarah Vaughan. His CDs, 'Long Ago' and 'Easy Company', featuring bassist Anthony Cox and pianist Bill Carrothers, have garnered luminous reviews in the international press. Current bands include Red Planet, Framework, Firebell, Tall Tales, Andrew Walesch, Sam Miltich, and Tim Sparks.
