Event Details

Lewis and Clark were famous comedians during the vaudeville era; off-stage, though, they couldn't stand each other and haven't spoken in over 20 years. Ben, Willy Clark's nephew, the agent representing a variety show that wants to feature a reunion of the classic duo. How will Ben convince the crotchety old comedians to put aside their differences before the big show?

This Tony-nominated comedy by famed playwright Neil Simon will be produced as a benefit for Williamsburg Regional Library programs by the same troupe who presented last year's production of “The Fantasticks” on the Williamsburg Library Theatre stage.

Ryan Davy will direct this production, which features a cast of Tidewater-area student and professional actors including George Opie, Frank Conelly, Greg Davy and Janet Rose.

Doors open at 7 pm.  Seating is on a first-come basis, with a suggested donation of $10. No advance tickets will be sold or reserved.

“The Sunshine Boys” is presented through special arrangement with Samuel French.
