What is the Summer School?
A 6-week (June 7-July 16) foundational course curated by BIPOC organizers consisting of lectures, workshops, and a hub fostering intergenerational connections with other action-oriented community members.
This school is open to youth ages 14+

The Weekly Courses
- Week 1 - Lecture Class & Workshop: Global, Indigenous, and Local Regenerative Practices
- Week 2 - Lecture Class & Workshop: What is Capitalism
- Week 3 - Lecture Class & Workshop: History of Colonialism, Imperialism, and Racism in the U.S
- Week 4 - Lecture Class & Workshop: Global revolutions & resistance tactics
- Week 5 - Lecture Class & Workshop: Black Liberation in the U.S
- Week 6 - Lecture Class & Workshop: Environmental Justice 101
- Final: Presentation of Sustainable cities
Quick Stats
- Each week = 1 lecture (1.5 hrs) + 1 workshop (1.5 hrs) on that Tuesday and Saturday both from 6 - 7:30 pm ET.
- The course runs from Tuesday, June 7th to July 16th, 2022

After completing this course, students will be empowered to make more intentional and effective actions in their personal lives to support the environmental justice movement.
Students will have an understanding of how each course topic is relevant to their communities and daily lives. We are training the next generation of leaders to ensure a sustainable, liberated, and equitable future for all.
