Event Details

  • So how do I pull of all the knowledge so far into growing myself and others?
  • How can include coaching as a way of developing my team?
  • How can I shift the attention of others around me from problem to solution?
  • What is the process of coaching - how do I start and finish with a drive to action?
  • What do I do as a leader when I don't know the answer for how someone needs to change and grow?
  • How can I use questions and listening strategically and efficiently for individual and team convesations?

Ok - so you understand the brain, Red and Blue Zones, you can listen better, and you now have some great questions to ask. How is all of this pulled together into strong strategies and conversations for growth? Based on recent neuroscience and coaching methodology, this last webinar in the series shows how all of the previous elements contribute to powerful and respectful leadership through structured conversations for growth. I will be introducing three questioning frameworks that can be allpied to many different contexts, and that will add tremendous value, human captial and resilience to your team and business.

What you will take away:

  • Knowledge of how all prior concepts contribute to growth conversations, and how this contributes to group growth mindset
  • Three, easy to follow conversational guides all geared towards insight, learning and action
  • Understanding of the purpose of these conversations, and when best to use them
  • Resources that allow you to build the average conversation in your teams from being problem-focused to having a prosperity culture

This is session 4 of a 5 session series of webinars based on the recently updated book The Success Zone. Originally published in 2009, this books has been repurposed to the YOR Health organisation, with a foreword by Dave Nelson. The new edition will be available on iTunes and Amazone as an iBook/eBook, and will be released just prior to the first webinar.

The outline of this series of webinars covers seven key domains of success knowledge over 5 webinars:

  • Seeing 'success' in the brain through contemporary, yet understandable neuroscience
  • Understanding two key mind states, one of prosperity and one of staying stuck (based on models of the brain)
  • Exploring 21st century leadership through leading self, leading teams and leading organizations
  • Exploring the behaviours and habits that successful leaders employ, based on the content so far
  • A deep understanding and practicing listening as a key engagement behaviour of prosperity in self and others
  • Unpacking and building habits of powerful questioning towards clarity in action for self and others
  • Bringing it all together towards the ability to engage self and others in growth conversations
