Ryan Allison is an experienced executive, technologist and corporate management consultant that has worked extensively in the Federal Government, Finance and Healthcare sectors. A natural ambassador and strategist, Ryan has excelled at driving strategic and competitive initiatives, large logistics efforts and corporate reform, often incorporating heavy degrees of technology integration, adoption and consolidation. In a consultative role, he has served as an Analyst, Engineer, Program Portfolio Manager, Process Architect, Interim COO, Executive Advisor, Corporate Strategist and Financial Reformist. Having worked across the Globe, Ryan has brought success to clients in acquisitions, transitions, mergers and project portfolio investments in the United States, France, Bulgaria, Dubai, Norway, China, Vietnam and the U.K.
Ryan joined VMware, Inc. after years of leveraging the virtualization business case for his clients. He has been passionate about scalable computing, datacenter efficiency and virtualization technology since his first exposure to VMware technology in 2004. Now engaged at the forefront of Cloud Computing, Ryan looks forward to providing continued bottom line success for his customers.
Ryan received his MBA from George Mason University in Virginia, studied International Markets at Oxford University and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey. He is a certified Rescue Diver, holds an OUPV Captain’s License and is an avid powerboat racer. In his free time spent off the water, Ryan also enjoys building and riding custom motorcycles, participating in charity rides and events throughout the East Coast.
