The Story of Plastic virtual film fiesta
Event Information
About this event
Spanning three continents, the film illustrates the ongoing catastrophe: fields full of garbage, veritable mountains of trash, rivers and seas clogged with waste, and skies choked with the poisonous emissions from plastic production and processing.
May 23rd was the date for the next large Extinction Rebellion event in London BUT that was before the COVID19 coronavirus crisis kicked-in. So instead why not stay-home, save-lives and join-us for a special 'put me on the watch-list party' of this brand new film from The Story of Stuff Project
The film premiered on Earth Day April 22nd 2020 and is currently ONLY available via the DiscoveryGo subscription service and through online 'Community Screenings' like-this. The film is available to watch now until May 24th.
Once registered you will be automatically emailed instructions how to watch the film and take-part in the discussion afterwards. To take-part in the discussion you will need to install the Zoom video-conference software.
Our discussion includes contributions from Jo Ruxton founder and film-maker of Plastic Oceans UK and Dr Martin Price spokesperson for Friends of the Earth Dorset.
