Event description
The Stepmom Connection is hosting a free digital event to help stepmoms understand their grieving stepchildren.

About this Event

On November 16, The Stepmom Connection honors Children's Grief Awareness month! Our program this month is Grieving Children in Blended Families: How to Help and How to Cope.

We'll bring you guest speakers and a stepchild panel to provide help and hope for stepmoms looking to understand their children's grief in stepfamilies. We also recognize that children aren't the only stepfamily members who grieve, so we've added a special guest speaker who will touch on infertility in the midst of stepfamily life.

1 hour; 3 segments!

Segment 1: Enjoy the wisdom of two veteran stepmoms discussing children's re-grief and the wonderful parental coping skill of compassionate non-attachment. Featuring a conversation between Diane Fromme, Founder and Author, Stepparenting the Grieving Child and Sue Thoele, Author of Strength--Meditations for Wisdom, Balance and Power and The Courage to Be a Stepmom.

Segment 2: Special adult-stepchild panel! Hear some truths about children's grief from now adult children of stepfamilies formed by death and divorce.

Segment 3: Bear witness to the cycle of pain and resilience that comes from a walk through infertility in the midst of the regular chaos of stepfamily life. We welcome Emily Jordan, The Joyful Stepmom, to discuss her journey.

The digital event will be "live" from 11 AM - Noon Central Standard Time, and also will be recorded for playback until December 16, 2019.

Everyone must be registered to receive the link for live or recorded access.

For our LIVE attendees, you'll receive a free holiday eBook for stepmoms, plus Diane and Sue will be giving away a copy of their book to a live prize winner.

Grab a few stepmoms and join us for an inspirational and honest time of connection and sharing.

With JOY,

The Stepmom Connection Team

Deanna, Diane and Tammy
