The Staten Island Pub Crawl, From Breweries to Biker Bars
Event Information
Description
While most of New York's old-school dives or neighborhood watering holes have closed up shop over the past decade, Staten Island's local pub culture is still largely intact, and a refreshing ode to Old New York — so what are you waiting for? Board a free, scenic 25-minute ferry from Manhattan and experience the authentic haunts for yourself!
Join New York Adventure Club as we drink our way through the local pub scene on Staten Island's north shore — from watering holes that bring a fresh perspective to the waterfront neighborhood, to others that haven't changed in decades.
Led by local neighborhood expert and Staten Island local Meredith Tobak, our unique experience will include:
- A brief historical overview of the Staten Island neighborhood of St. George
- A visit to three iconic Staten Island watering holes ranging from old-school biker bars, to a brewery, to an artsy hipster pub
- A slice of thin-crust pizza from the cousin restaurant of the legendary Joe & Pat's Pizzeria
Come thirsty!
*Your ticket includes one slice of pizza, and one beer or wine at every bar on the tour
