Program Description:

Today’s economic environment is dynamic. Evolving. Potentially volatile. And today’s CFOs have a lot to think about. What’s the current administration doing to improve the economy? Where are interest rates headed? What about inflation in 2018? A smart CFO needs an informed line of sight on where it’s all headed. We’ll help you understand what it all means, so you make informed decisions, avoid unnecessary risks, and proactively position your organization to seize opportunities as they emerge.

Guest Speaker

Jeff Korzenik, Chief Investment Strategist, Fifth Third Bank

Mr. Jeffrey Korzenik has been Chief Investment Strategist at Fifth Third Bank (Chicago) since March 2012. Mr. Korzenik manage the overarching strategy of Fifth Third's Investment Management Group throughout the country. He serves as Director of regional portfolio management for Midwest region at Fifth Third Bank. He has been the Chief Investment Strategist of Fifth Third Bank since February 13, 2012. Mr. Korzenik joined Fifth Third Bank in 2009. He served as the President of Salem Five Investment Services LLC at Salem Five Cents Savings Bank. He has 25 years of financial management experience. He served at Wall Street, Smith Barney and various predecessor firms. Mr. Korzenik served as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager at Smith Barney in Danvers, Massachusetts and Portsmouth, NH. He also served in various divisional management roles at Smith Barney in Chicago, Ill. He served in various strategic planning, research, marketing and product management roles at Smith Barney, New York. He served in research, marketing and investment advisory roles at PaineWebber. Mr. Korzenik started in the financial industry at E.F. Hutton. He is a sought after public speaker who regularly delivers economic outlook presentations to business groups throughout the country. He is also a regular contribution to the Chicago Tribune and other publications, including Boston Business Journal, The Boston Globe, Business Week, Die Zeit and Wall Street Journal, among others. He has also been interviewed extensively on television and radio on the economy and financial related topics. He serves on the President's Leadership Council of The Field Museum and the board of overseers of the Peabody Essex Museum. Mr. Korzenik earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University.
