About this event

The State Of My Mental: Women Breaking the Silence aims to bring life and more awareness to the mental health of women around the globe. We feel that it’s most important to continue the series with women being our focus as it's vital for them to be whole in their mind, body, soul, emotional and mental wellbeing for their leading roles in their homes, communities and the world.

  • There are young ladies across the globe who need whole women to be their role models RIGHT NOW when it comes to being in tune with who they are, how they are feeling and how to process those feelings.
  • Young girls need their moms, sisters and aunts in their lives to educate them on being whole by leading by example.
  • Our men rely on their spouses/mates to be 100% healthy in their mind, body, soul, emotional and mental to continue leading in the many roles they are assigned.
  • Women judge themselves enough; they need the rest of the world to support them when they are not at their best, without judgment nor questions.

The State of My Mental: Women Breaking the Silence summit, being held on October 22, 2022, is created to be a continuous conversation and a platform where women can speak their unfiltered truths without judgment.

After experiencing almost 15 years of depression and unhealthy mental health habits as she struggled with her 18-year journey of infertility and other reproductive health challenges, founder Tameka Chapman realized that she needed to find a way to begin living again and that meant facing the events that had caused her to become depressed. Often, speaking about mental health issues is taboo, but knowing that there are so many more women who are suffering in silence and adding to the continuous rise of mental health challenges and suicide, Tameka Chapman is taking a BIG, BOLD step forward, acknowledging the stereotype and taboo-ness of it all. She is creating the space to offer resources to other women who need the help.

The State of My Mental is a safe, non-judgmental platform whose primary mission is to offer resources of experts and programs to provide a safe path towards having a healthy mental health status for men, women and children around the globe.

The State of My Mental series was created by Tameka Chapman, CEO of Mogul Media LLC to normalize conversations of mental health awareness and partner with experts to become the resource to help men, women and children implement a healthy mental health status. In a world where there are crises and unfortunate events happening every day that impacts our mental health and emotions, The State of My Mental is here to embrace, empower and enlighten people around the globe with positive programming.

On October 22, 2022, these phenomenal women will share an authentic and genuine conversation about mental health, their journeys as it relates to each one of them having a healthy mental health status, as well as, sharing insight on how we, as women, can begin to live life free from the stereotype and shame to not talk about how we're really feeling.

Moderated by Dr. Dana Watson and joined by panelists Dr. Chere Goode, Dr. LaToya Wiggins, Ebony Pollard and Nicole Batiste and more.
