"The Starving Faithful" is a dance about love and loss, internal and external, and how the complexities affect an individual.
Sabrina Benazzouz portrays these emotions in an engaging solo that has been reworked and rehearsed under the direction of Melinda (Mindi) Caubarreaux, as part of a project guided by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Department of Dance faculty in partial fulfillment of work towards an MFA in Performing Arts: Dance.
The public may arrive at 3:30 p.m. with the showing beginning at 4:00 p.m. We will have a talk back session (Q&A) afterwards, and the event will event around 5:00 p.m.
Please RSVP on our eventbrite link - We are taking only a limited number of people. While this event is free, we are accepting donations (on the eventbrite link And/Or at the event) to help cover the costs of rehearsal time, space, and dancers' salary.
Thank you for your interest and attending! We appreciate your support of the arts!
