The Stanford Powwow is an annual event that occurs on Mother’s day weekend in the Spring Quarter. During our event, we provide faculty, students, and the greater Palo Alto community the opportunity to experience various Native American Cultures through cultural song, dance, art, and crafts.

The Powwow Planning Committee holds weekly meetings during the fall, winter, and spring quarters, which are open to anyone on campus who wants to be involved with planning this event. We also hold occasional socials where we make food to share with the community. Powwow itself is entirely open to the Stanford community and students/faculty are welcome to volunteer during the weekend. We also support other student/departmental events associated with various campus communities, such as supporting programs by the Stanford American Indian Association.
