The Stakes of a Global War by Andrei Piontkovsky
Overview
Join us for a conversation with Andrei Piontkovsky, one of Russia’s most incisive political analysts and moral voices in exile, as he presents his new book, "The Rise and Fall of Putinism and the Stakes of a Global War".
Spanning more than two decades of essays and commentary, the book traces the evolution of Russia from the hopeful dawn of the post-Soviet era to the entrenched authoritarianism of Putin’s rule - and its catastrophic consequences for global security. Piontkovsky dissects the mechanisms of “Putinism,” its ideological roots, and its export beyond Russia’s borders, offering a prophetic account of the forces driving today’s war and reshaping the world order.
With characteristic clarity and courage, he invites readers to examine not only the collapse of a regime but the moral and geopolitical stakes of the confrontation unfolding before our eyes.
