The Spiral of Resilience: Practicing Self & Collective Care
Event Information
About this Event
Join us on Wednesday, Dec 2nd for The Spiral of Resilience: Practicing Self & Collective Care.
During this winter season as the nights grow longer and COVID numbers surge, many are facing unprecedented isolation and loneliness. This is a moment that requires us to be more deliberate in how we practice self and collective care to transform our conditions and to thrive together.
Participants will engage in a four-part spiral design of experiential processes and practices from the Work that Reconnects that will: ground us in Gratitude for ways we have cared for ourselves and been cared for, Honoring our Pain for the times when we haven’t, reframe our understanding of care by Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes, and deepen in our commitment to practice self and collective care in Going Forth.
This offering is part of MEDICINE FOR THESE TIMES, an online series by Thrive East Bay to nourish our bodies, hearts, minds and spirits as we navigate the multiple pandemics of coronavirus, racial injustice and climate chaos.
This is an experiential gathering, so please be prepared to interact with others in pairs and small groups for part of our time. Learn more about the Work That Reconnects and its evolving edge.
