Charlie and Nancy Cook present a virtual program about their book, The Spies at Carpenters' Hall.

The Spies at Carpenters' Hall tells the story of secret meetings between French spy Julien-Alexandre Achard de Bonvouloir, John Jay and Benjamin Franklin that occurred at Carpenters' Hall in 1775, with Francis Daymon from the Library Company of Philadelphia serving as a French-language interpreter. The meetings were pivotal in establishing the Franco-American alliance that proved essential in America's struggle for independence.

Charlie is a longtime member of the Carpenters' Company and Assistant Professor in Drexel University's Engineering Program. Nancy Cook is an educator with extensive experience with elementary-age students.
