Join us for the second annual Spark Conference - a first class professional development experience that will inspire and energize you for the school year ahead!

Keynote Presenter:
Kim Bearden

Kim Bearden is the cofounder, executive director, and language arts teacher at the highly-acclaimed Ron Clark Academy, an innovative middle school and educator training facility in Atlanta. Over the past nine years, over 36,000 educators from around the world have visited Kim's classroom at the Academy and have attended her workshops to learn better ways to engage students, promote academic rigor, and create a climate and culture that promotes success. Kim was honored by President Obama at the White House for being inducted into to the National Teachers Hall of Fame. She was selected from over 70,000 nominations to be honored as the Disney American Teacher Awards Outstanding Middle School Humanities Teacher. Over the past thirty years, she has been a teacher, instructional lead teacher, curriculum director, school board member, staff development trainer, and middle school principal. Kim the the author of two books: Crash Course: The Life Lessons My Students Taught Me; Talk to Me: Find the Right Words to Inspire, Encourage, and Get Things Done.


Breakout Sessions: You will have the choice of attending one of five dynamic breakout sessions:

  • (PreK) Innovation in Early Childhood Programs

  • (Grades K-3) Best Practices in Literacy and Interdisciplinary Instruction

  • (Grades 4-8) Best Practices in STEAM Education

  • (Grades 4-8) Best Practices in Literature and the Arts

  • (Administration) Creative Marketing Strategies for Elementary Schools


Conference Registration Cost: $200
Conference registration includes all sessions, breakfast, lunch, teacher swag bag, parking and post-conference reception.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Good news . . . parking is included with your paid conference registration.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No worries . . . you do not have to bring your ticket with you to the conference. You will check-in at our registration table by name and we will have your materials ready for you.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

We want to be able to greet you by name . . . your registration/ticket name must match the conference participant.

What's the refund policy?

Sorry . . . there are no refunds. In the event you aren't able to attend, we will find a way to get you the materials from the conference.
