This event marks the launch of Dr. Armen Papazian’s new book - The Space Value of Money: Rethinking Finance Beyond Risk and Time - published by Palgrave Macmillan 2022. Armen is a Cambridge economist probing sustainability from the perspective of the very mathematics of monetary value and return. He introduces space—from subatomic to interstellar and beyond—as an analytical dimension in finance. The event is both academic and social, featuring an address by Dr Papazian, book signing opportunity, drinks and networking. The event is hosted by King’s College Cambridge and organised by the Space Value Foundation in partnership with the Judge Business School.

Armen is a financial economist, author, consultant, and innovator with a track record in global finance. He has more than 20 years' experience in sustainable finance, capital markets, and analytics. A Doctor of Financial Economics from Cambridge University, Cambridge Judge Business School, Armen combines extensive industry experience with financial institutions and markets, with in-depth research into both the theoretical and practical aspects of modern sustainable finance.
