Event description

Description

Grateful for this reminder that everything is interconnected.

Our last "Sound Healing Symphony" of the year at Grace is on Nov 11th!

Almost 1400 of us will converge together to experience clarity and peace.

This experience brings you to your deepest meditative state, and brings us all closer together as a community.

With Guy Douglas {conductor, lead gong + bowls}, Sarah Glass {vocals + harp + monochord} and Alisa Healy {harp}, Russell Feingold {didgeridoo & Native American Flute}, Loriel Starr {gong}, and Xenia Giolli {gong}, Simona Marie Asinovski {crystal singing bowls + gong }, Celine Saba Rezvani {gong}, and Dan Neville {vibraphone}

Sound Meditation (often known as ‘sound healing’) is the practice of listening to soothing sounds to reach profound states of clarity and relaxation. It opens up deep meditative states that are usually unreachable without considerable effort.

During the event, participants lie down and are bathed head to toe in sound— it's a very hypnotic, ethereal experience.

You will come away with a clear mind, and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of sound. We strongly recommend this event for people who have trouble meditating, or feel like they just "can't get there." Give this a try :).

Sound Meditation Presents promotes the ancient healing practice of sound work as a way to affect physical health and conscious awareness.

Please arrive early. Doors open at 7pm and we ask everyone to please arrive early. Doors are closed at 8pm.

If you are laying down, we recommend bringing:

- a yoga mat
- (optional) a pillow
- (optional) a blanket or two.

Bring water as that's always a good idea.

Details about tickets:

- Laying down spots are $28 and seated spots are only $15-18.
- There are two types of seated spots. "Pews" and "Choir". Pews are in front of the stage. Choir spots are behind the stage— so not as much of a view, but the sound will be fantastic.
- There's a small number of Benefactor tickets. Benefactors support our work spreading sound meditation. They help us offer tickets to disadvantaged groups, purchase additional equipment and more. We'll set you up in the front row on a mat and blanket (so you don't have to bring your own).
- Please purchase your tickets mindfully— we are happy to help with confusion, but make sure you choose the ticket type you want.

(this event is not religious & has no religious affiliation)
