The Soul of Aging is a program for those interested in doing spiritual work to explore the challenges, joys, and possibilities of the aging

About this event

Join us for an introductory session on Saturday, August 13, 10 AM – 12 PM, to see if this process is for you. If it is, you will continue to gather with this co-hort in two- hour sessions once or twice a month through January 2023.

As we age, we are more likely to spend time considering how loss, transition, and renewal have touched our lives. We tend to take stock of the past and reflect on the lives we have lived. We consider how to prepare for the future – including renewal, establishing a legacy and addressing death.

The Soul of Aging – developed by Parker Palmer’s Center for Courage & Renewal – is for those entering or in “the third chapter” of life – those who are considering retirement or older. This program offers you a community, space, and prompting to explore topics related to aging — topics often considered alone.

Are you looking for a place to learn and grow with others who are in a similar time of life? Would you like to explore the aging process in a space where it is safe to raise your questions and fears? You’re invited to bring your hopes, history, and true self to The Soul of Aging.
