The Speakers:

Vitor Leal – Software Developer at Insurance Revolution - DDD: An Introduction to Domain Driven Design

Delving into one of the teachings of the infamous Eric Evans' DDD book, ‘The "Strategic" DDD: Bounded Contexts, Subdomains, and the Ubiquitous Language’. Victor will be teaching you how to dissolve a bulky monolithic application into small, autonomous units.

There are many ways to do it, which may confuse even the most experienced developers; however, through the use of bounded contexts and the development of ubiquitous languages, we will focus on doing it the domain-driven design way.

Toby Wilman – Lead Talent Partner at Infinity Works - Confessions of an Amateur Public Speaker

A talk all about the ups and downs of putting yourself out there and the benefits it can bring. Through this talk we’ll be looking at all of the trials and tribulations of public speaking, the reality of speaking at a tech event, and in an ideal world, help create a safe environment where others feel confident to step into the realm and deliver their first talk!

Stephen McCartney - Head of Digital Transformation at Iceland Digital - Remote & Hybrid Working: How to create a winning culture

Stephen will be talking about some of the shared challenges around high performing delivery teams, how to create and maintain a culture that fosters success, personal growth, and teamwork with the challenges of blended working, full on-site, hybrid and fully remote plus things definitely not to do!
