The Social Scene: An Immersive Experience
Overview
Spend the day in pleasant company, admiring "visiting" fashions, trying your hand at hand-crafted gifts, practicing etiquette, and learning some simple parlor games. You are welcome to wear historic attire, circa 1890-1920, to set the mood. Kay Demlow will lead you through the helpful hints and fine points for socializing like our great-grandparents did! We'll sit down together for a light luncheon.
The 1909 School will offer another workshop on January 31: The Arts and Crafts Era at TaborSpace in Portland. If you would like to register for both days at one time, you can save $20. There is a separate ticket category for the double registration.
