Event description

Description

Join us to Celebrate the past 5 years.

This black tie evening held at the millennium galleries on May 18th 2017, will celebrate five years of progress and success of the first charity in the UK to specialise in providing long-term support to survivors of modern slavery.

Individuals who have been controlled, tortured, abused and exploited have found new lives attending university, reconnecting with lost children, obtaining their first paid job and making healthy relationships through the support provided by the Snowdrop Project.

It's hard to believe 5 years have passed since the Snowdrop Project was launched. To mark the progression of support for survivors, this event will bring together the Snowdrop Project, the first charity in the UK to tackle long-term support, the first UK Anti-Slavery Commissioner, Kevin Hyland and the CO-OP, the first UK Supermarket to provide employment schemes for survivors of modern slavery.

Tickets include a welcome drink, a three course meal wine on the table - generously donated by the CO-OP and entertainment:

Arrival Drinks 7pm

Sit down 7:30pm

Keynote speech from Kevin Hyland OBE

Carriages 11:00pm

Tickets are £35 per guest, however tables of 10 are available to reserve.

The proceeds from this event will go towards the work of the Snowdrop Project.
