Featuring the biggest and best Slingshot aftermarket vendors, organized scenic and urban city group rides, entertainment, competitions, prize giveaways, family activities and much more, THE SLING EXPERIENCE will offer a little something for everyone!

In the meantime the host hotel link is active and you can book your rooms and start to make travel plans.
REGISTRATION: Make sure to register for the event in advance so we can plan accordingly! When you arrive at the event, please check in at the registration desk, to get a sticker, wristband, and any merchandise.
VENDORS: Several of the best Slingshot vendors will be in attendance. Make sure you start contacting them now to schedule special installations, or make sure they are bringing the parts you may want or need. Is there a vendor that you wanted to be here but is not on the list? Contact them and let them know to get here, it’s not too late for them to get a booth!
FOOD: We will have at least two amazing food trucks on site during the entire event, starting on Thursday at 5pm, all the way to Sunday at 5pm. For those who don’t want to miss a minute of the action, grab a bite right at the event! The host hotel also has a restaurant, bar, and Starbucks in the lobby. Several other restaurants are less than a block away as well.
SECURITY: The hotel has its own security, but we will be hiring additional dedicated security guards to patrol the area at night. Please respect the instructions of our Event Staff to help manage the parking / event area. Please do not leave valuables unattended in your vehicles.
SLINGSHOT PUSH DRAG RACING: Get a team of 3 people, (one person to steer, and two to push) and compete in our SLINGSHOT PUSH DRAG RACING! Two teams will go head to head and push a Slingshot a short distance to determine a winner! Round One is Friday at 4:00 PM, Round Two is Saturday at 2:00 PM, and the Finals are on Sunday at 11:00 AM at the Marriot Westchase. (If you ever had experience push starting a Slingshot, this event might be for you!!)
SLINGSHOT AWARDS AND TROPHIES: The Sling Experience gives away some of the best and biggest trophies in the nation! If your Slingshot has what it takes, Slinghot Show and Shine participants need to be in place in the Marriott event area by 11am on Sunday April 11th. Judging starts at noon, with all trophies and prizes awarded at 3pm.
GROUP RIDES: During some portions of the event, rides may overlap with each other, and some will have a limit of 40 Slingshots. This will help break up some of our rides for safety reasons during the day. Choose the rides you will enjoy the most, or just hang out in the event area and mingle with the vendors, the choice is yours! Rides will be announced when they are starting to line up.
STAYING TOGETHER: Ride leaders will be using the JoinR app for many of our rides. It allows the group to see where other riders are on a map, and chat with each other if needed. Stay tuned for more details, and keep an eye out for other group riding tips online.
For our larger rides, we will provide maps and written details with rally points and times. We try our best to stay on time, and we’ll be taking it pretty slow. Feel free to fall to the back of the line and break off for gas or a bathroom break if needed, and catch us at the next stop. Please try to arrive at the event with a full tank before going on any major rides.

Thursday April 8th, 2021
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Vendor and event area setup.
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – VIP and Early Arrival Registration check in
4:00 PM – 6:30 PM – General Registration check in
5:00 pm – Vendors open
6:30 PM – 10:00 PM- Major group ride leaves for a Sunset Cruise in Galveston. We’ll take 45 South and stop at Bucee’s on the way. We’ll take 61st street to the Seawall to Diamond Beach, park and hang out near the beach, enjoying a beautiful sunset along the water. We’ll cruise along the entire Galveston Seawall then gather for dinner, before riding back to Houston through the Downtown Houston Night Skyline.
Friday June 26th, 2020
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM – Vendors, food trucks, registration desk, all open.
9:00 AM – 11:30 AM- [Ride Option] – Take a nice slow cruise down Memorial Ave heading into town, enjoying shaded views of some of the nicest homes in Houston. Ride then heads into the scenic winding roads of Memorial Park, then through the Montrose area and into the beautiful Hermann Park / Houston Zoo area, passing some historic landmarks on the way. Ride returns passing by the Texas Medical Center on Braeswood, then 610 to Westheimer. (Limited Ride, Max 40 Participants Please)
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – [Ride Option] – Ride, relax and enjoy the freeways!! Team Mancuso Powersports Gulf Freeway Customer Appreciation City Skyline Ride! **POLICE ESCORTED** Freeway route goes through the heart of Downtown Houston for some scenic skyline views, traveling through the Washburn Tunnel before stopping at Bucees near Baytown on the other side of the city. We’ll take a straight shot down I-10 on the way back, passing through Downtown again, protected by some of Houston’s finest during the ENTIRE RIDE!
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Slingshot Push Drag Racing – Round 1 – At the Marriot Westchase
5:00 PM – 8:30 PM – Meet and Greet, Live DJ
8:30 PM – 9:00 PM – The light competition sponsored by Light the Nite LED’s will begin as the sun starts to set. Judges will select finalists, first, second and third place trophies will be awarded.
9:00 PM – Massive Group Rideout - We head north a few minutes to invade the highly popular City Center area. We ride and takeover the Houston freeways and make our way south to Wolfies in Sugarland, hang out, have a refreshment and a bite to eat, before riding back to the hotel north on Hwy6, then East on Westheimer.
11:00 PM – 1:00 AM – THE SLING EXPERIENCE – Late Night Tailgating back at the Marriott Hotel! Bring some refreshments, some food, games, invite some friends, and have a good time with the Slingshot Family! (Please try to keep music down after 10 pm.)
Saturday June 27th, 2020
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM – Vendors, food trucks, registration desk, all open.
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM – [Ride Option] - Open Road Spirited Ride – Ride heads about 30 minutes West on I-10 and makes a stop at Buccees in Katy TX for fuel and snacks, before taking to some open curvy back roads West of Houston. Ride returns back via I-10 East. Slower traffic, please drop to the back of the line, and everyone please ride within your limits. – (Limited Ride, Max 50 Participants Please)
11:00 AM – 1:30 PM – [Ride Option] – City Graffiti Photo Ride – Quick ride to a major graffiti location in the city to take some pictures, and return to the hotel. (Limited Ride, Max 40 Participants Please)
2:00 PM – 2:30 PM – Slingshot Push Drag Racing – Round 2 – At the Marriot Westchase
2:00 PM – Registration for the Audio Competition Opens
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM - Audio Competition Sponsored By House of Sound, managed by Banger Audio Sound Series with four different classes! First and second place trophies awarded for each class. After the class competitions are over, feel free to call someone out for a head-to-head Grudge Match!! Click here for rules and details. Registration starts at 2:00 pm on Saturday.

7:30 PM – 10:00 PM – MASSIVE Group Rideout! – Calling ALL Slingshots, HOW MANY CAN WE GET?! Group will invade the Westheimer area, then head to Memorial Park for a drone video shoot with other special effects. Ride continues down the scenic Memorial Ave with gorgeous nighttime skyline views of Downtown Houston, as we make our way into the downtown area passing the Hard Rock Café, Theater District, and Minute Maid Park. We’ll pass by George R Brown Convention Center, the Toyota Center, and stop at the Graffiti Building, and end our route at Bombshells 59 South.

Sunday June 28th, 2020

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM – City Graffiti Photo Ride – Quick ride to a major graffiti location in the city to take some pictures, and return to the hotel. (Limited Ride, Max 40 Participants Please)
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Slingshot Push Drag Racing – Finals – At the Marriott Westchase
11:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Get your Slingshots in place for the Show and Shine! Judging starts around noon. Multiple trophies award for paint, wheels, theme, Best in Show, and more! Winners announced at 3:00 PM.
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM – Slingshot Exhaust Competition. Rev Em Up! First and second place trophies awarded to the best sounding exhaust, at the Awards Ceremony at 3:00 PM
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Donut Competition Sponsored by DDM Works! At the rear of the Marriott Hotel. Enjoy the show, or get in on the action! Trophies and gift cards with be awarded to first, second, and third place at the Awards Ceremony at 3:00 PM.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Award Presentation for Competitions and Show and Shine Winners

Please keep in mind that it is absolutely FREE to register and attend The Sling Experience. Although it is important to mention, you must pre-register. The VIP hats and shirts are only optional and we do appreciate that support. Another thing to keep in mind please don't fall victim to anyone trying to "Sell" tickets to The Sling Experience. Not even VIP as those tickets are non-transferable. The only place you can buy VIP is on the official Eventbrite.
