THE SICHUAN TRAIL

September 8th: 1:00pm / $100pp
Presented By: Studiofeast + Underground Eats + Wangin' Weekends

The Sichuan Trail

Robert Sietsema, writing for Eater, recently published The Sichuan Peppercorn Heatmap, which is his list of the 11 best Sichuan dishes in NYC. To some, this may seem like an everyday restaurant roundup similar to so many others we read daily in the food media.

But this list was about the Sichuan Peppercorn, and we take that shit to heart. In fact, we’ve hired La Chiva Loca, a fully decked out school bus-style party bus, to take us around to all 11 restaurants where we will sample every dish from the heatmap...and you’re invited!

We will begin in Flushing, Queens and ride the trail toward our end point in Manhattan’s Chinatown while eating, drinking, and twerking aboard La Chiva Loca. Your ticket includes a tasting of all 11 dishes from Sietsema’s list, as well as all the beer and aguardiente you can drink (you’re also welcome to BYOB if you’d like).

The Start
Meet at 1:00p at Hunan Kitchen of Grand Sichuan (42-47 Main St in Flushing, Queens. Take the 7 Train to Flushing Main St)

Finish Line
Arrive at approximately 4:45p at Famous Sichuan (10 Pell Street in Chinatown, Manhattan)
