The Shire Bands 10th Birthday Concert

The Shire Bands have reached double digits! Please come and help celebrate our 10th Birthday with an exciting concert at Padstow RSL. This performance will feature a wide variety of music spanning numerous genre's and decades. Expect to hear some favourites from stage, screen, and everything in-between. Please come join us for an afternoon you won't forget!

New Horizons Concert Band

The Shire New Horizons is a place where adult musicians, beginners and comeback players can join together and share their love of music! They have over 50 members who all enjoy learning and helping each other each week. Of course, they take some time out for morning tea in there too!

Some of them have never played before, others are learning new instruments, and some are getting back into playing after stopping for quite some time. The band is made up of concert band instruments including flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, bass guitar and percussion.

The Shire Concert Band

The Shire Concert Band is an exciting and dynamic ensemble, welcoming developing musicians to nurture their skills alongside competent players. The band performs music from a wide range of genres, and regularly entertains at community events and functions around Sydney. Individual members of the Shire Concert Band regularly represent the band in Solo and Party contests, winning numerous titles in both New South Wales and Victoria.
