About this event
homemuse.io, THE platform dedicated to music learning for people looking for high-quality music Instruction and progress tracking is hosting one of its teachers for another masterclass!
We are excited to partner with pianist Jeanne Hourez for another ZOOM masterclass on March, 21st at 11AM (PST).
Based on the works of Cecile Chaminade, Germaine Tailleferre and Lili Boulanger, three oustanding composers of the XXe century, Jeanne Hourez will talk about the place of women in the musical world with an extended focus on these women's influences in France and an array of brilliant piano works. Ambroise Thomas once said of Chaminade: "This is not a woman who composes, but a composer who is a woman."
In this interactive FREE 60-minute online event, Renowned French Pianist Jeanne Hourez will lead attendees through musical history with these inspiring and brilliant composers, using three piano pieces as examples.
This masterclass is open to everyone, musicians or not: there will be opportunities for asking questions and participate!
Join us for this FREE & UNIQUE event and discover with us the stories and works of these wonderful women.
