Event description
New, digital works to break the online theater mold, keep our artists working, and to help an organization making good trouble in the world.

About this Event

A digital series of inspired original pieces of all kinds, we began The Screenlit Series to redefine the online theater mold, keep our artists working, and to give a little to those who are making good trouble in the world.

The October 2020 edition of The Screenlit Series assumes the form of...well, who knows? It's Duplicity & Disguise! Each piece will deal with the devious, the cunning, or perhaps just a simple mistaken identity - very apropos while our Halloween parties are on hold.

Come dressed - or masked - to party!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Freedom, Inc.:

"Freedom, Inc. engages low- to no-income communities of color in Dane County, WI. Our mission is to achieve social justice through coupling direct services with leadership development and community organizing."

Freedom, Inc. roots its mission and action in its three pillars of intersectional justice:

  • Gender Justice
  • Queer Justice
  • Black & Southeast Asian Liberation

The rest of the proceeds will be paid directly to our artists whose work you'll experience this evening:

Laurel Andersen, Kelly Blaze, Dan Cabrera, Kristen Calgaro, Terra Chaney, Alcides Costa, Leslie Field, Aziza Gharib, Teagan Kazia, Charlotte Lang-Bush, Nicole Marie Martinez, Brennan O'Rourke, Joe Raik, Regina Renée Russell, Owen Grayson Schiller, Anna Stacy, Charles Stacy, Victoria Teague, Rachel Weekley, and Jaine Ye.

We go live on Tuesday, October 27th at 8:00pm - join us!

All patrons will be emailed a link to the live performance approximately one hour prior to showtime.
