Event description

Description

Investigate the interplay of color and light: this in-depth course explores the design impact of lighting, color temperature, color rending index and light reflectance value (LRV). Additionally, identify problems that occur as a result of product substitution and color matching.

Learning Objectives:

  • Summarize the role of light and the process that occurs between the brain and the eye for humans to see and perceive color.
  • Examine the characteristics of different light sources, specifically color temperature, and color rendering index and the impact on color.
  • Identify problems that occur as a result of product substitution and color matching.
  • Explain light reflectance value (LRV) and the different types of light distribution.
