About this event
Happiness is an abstract topic that we all chase, without taking the time to ponder what it actually means. Scientists have figured out how to quantify it, measure it and describe it. Now we know what parts of the brain are activated when we feel "happy", what makes people feel happy, and what are the positive health benefits of feeling happy.
Join much-loved Professor at USC and Scripps College alum Patricia George for this exciting chat! Patricia teaches Psychology of Marriage and Family, Abnormal Psychology, and just finished creating the curriculum for Happiness: Research in Neuroscience and Positive Psychology – coming Fall 2022.
This event is co-hosted by the Mount Saint Mary's University of Los Angeles and Scripps College. Alums from all women's colleges are invited to attend!
