The Student - South Carolina Education Association
Welcome to The South Carolina Education Association Student Program! The SCEA Student Program is a pre-professional organization for undergraduate and graduate students preparing for careers in the field of education. The SCEA Student Program is a division of the larger, The South Carolina Education Association, the leading professional organization for educators in South Carolina that protects and defends the rights of public school employees. Also, we are a division of the National Education Association, the largest education association in the United States.
Our goal is to prepare our student members for their future as educators. We provide opportunities in the areas of professional development, networking, political action and community service. These opportunities aren't just something to add to a portfolio or resume. these opportunities and experiences will help student educators grow in their profession in ways that are not possible with any other organization.
Student members of The SCEA have an opportunity to participate in NEA activities and hold office at the state and national level.
