Description

COME LEARN about Sacramento’s Día de los Muertos celebrations at La Venadita, our gracious host for the third installment of our lecture and workshop series.

Royal Chicano Air Force (RCAF) founding member, Rudy Cuellar and American River College History Professor Ricardo Catón will explore Día de los Muertos in Sacramento, including the history of the holiday’s observance in the capital city, the RCAF's role in maintaining this tradition, and the holiday’s practice as a means of identity formation.

Grab a couple of delicious La Venadita tacos and ENJOY this fantastic talk on Día de los Muertos in Sacramento!

Admission is free (seating is limited; advance registration is required). Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
