Event Details

The Roxy Nightclub Presents New Year's 2017, the 1st of many events between Boston/RI nightclub veteran promoters Chris Angel and Jason Steven in 2017. This combination brings the nightlife a whole new fresh feel with  the old school mindset.  After having a hugely successful 3LAU's 1ST Annual "Haunted HAUS" this past Halloween at Royale Nightclub in Boston, Angel Productions & NOLiMiTZ Entertainment are bringing the House/EDM scene in Providence, RI a much needed change starting this New Year's Eve at Providence iconic nightclub, The Roxy. Their combined vision is to bring back to the club scene the true meaning of clubbing: You, The Music & The DJ!!!   Their vision is to do so without the overpriced ticket or entrance fees so highly regarded in todays market!  We make good parties and we want YOU to dance, make memories and have fun!!!

The Roxy Nightclub, a name that has come to be synonymous with style, glamour, and everything chic in Providence, the Roxy here may not be as famous as that one on the Hollywood Strip, but it's better than your average run-of-the-mill nightclub. It caters to a well-dressed clientele, where the club follows a strict dress code, with attire like jerseys, pull-overs, boots, white t-shirts, or anything 'baggy' completely unacceptable. In spite of the uber-stylish attitude here, people usually have a blast with the club's stellar theme nights, guest DJs, live bands and exceptional VIP service.

With the headliner yet to be announced, The New Year's 2017 brings you Angel Productions & NOLiMiTZ Entertainments own resident DJ's to start the year off in dramatic fashion with 3 centrally located talented artists.

Derek The Prince, first of the three, has had an extensive career as DJ in Boston, CT and Providence. Known for his versatility and technical mixing skills, DJ/Producer Derek The Prince is a highly respected and talented young DJ who will be sure to keep the dance floor moving. His resume is quite extensive with playing at may of the area's top venues like Sequel RI,  Therapy RI, Rise (Boston), Underbar (Boston), Bijou (Boston), Afterlife (CT) and current Colosseum Nightclub (RI) resident.

DJ/Producer Art Beatz, Known for his multi-genre blending and signature face paint, Art Beatz has been banging beats along side international djs Alesso, Jauz, Seven Lions, R3hab, 3lau, Otto Knows, Arty and others. The Massachusetts based DJ/Producer/Remixer creativity and passion for music keeps him working around the clock. "I wake up in the middle of the night to compose a beat," he says. His addictive club banger "Go Crazy" w/Ariez Onasis ft. Fatman Scoop & Clinton Sparks has been supported by djs around the world. He has also produced for major artists Nicki Minaj, Lil Jon and Egyptian Pop Star Tamer Hosny.

DJ/Producer EXODUS needs no introduction and he " boasts a very impressive discography, already full of strong chart topping hits and big #1-sellers, with heavy supporters that read like a diverse who's-who of the most relevant dance music Artists today.”

Exodus burst onto the New York city scene from humble beginnings playing small nightclubs. With his signature high energy dj sets and frequent radio mixshow guest appearances he quickly caught the attention of major talent buyers and promoters from the New York City area. Within his first year Exodus found himself playing alongside house music icons such as Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, David Jones and Erick Morillo whilst quickly landing residencies at some of New York City’s largest nightclubs. Moving forward, Exodus broadened his horizon by producing
records as well as establishing great label connections with labels such as Sony Music which lead to several licensed in store cd releases.

Kicking off 2016 with a bang, Exodus & Chuckie collaborated on the massive anthem “Perfect Sky”, which was released on Armada Music. The hype continued to grow as Exodus was placed on official remix duty for hip hop legend Snoop Dogg on his Billboard chart hit ‘Let me hit it’. These two projects were only the beginning of a chain reaction of high profile projects that are to come out in the remainder of 2016 and in 2017. Other releases in 2016 have included multiple successful tracks on Vicious Recordings, Peak Hour Music and Black Hole Recordings.
Among Exodus’ biggest accomplishments to date are his groundbreaking originals such as “We Are Your Friends”, “Ready 4 This”, “Hands High” and “Smash” as well as official remixes for Tiesto & BT "Love Comes again", Deorro “Rock The Party”, Starkillers, Alex Kenji & Nadia Ali “Pressure”, Manufactured Superstars “Like Satellites”, Danny Avila “Poseidon”, and Cedric Gervais “Molly”. All of these releases have gained global support from A list artists and syndication on SiriusXM, BBC Radio1, and many more.
