About this event

9/30 The Round featuring:

SERAFIMA (music): instagram.com/serafimmmaaa

"Serafima is a disco ball in cowboy boots. Serafima's folk-influenced sound draws inspiration from early 20th-century music and is a spellbinding blend of genre, perhaps best described as “unAmericana”. One look into her big, hazel doe eyes and you’ll be captivated. One listen to “I’ll Be Around” and you’ll be in love."- by Dagny Chika

STANDISH(music): instagram.com/standishcreative

Heavily influenced by artists such as Brandi Carlile, Bruce Springsteen, and The National, you’ll typically find Standish playing in the band “Your Downstairs Neighbors” alongside his best friends on the Seattle music scene. He writes reflective music about familiar problems, dark days, and the ebb & flow of relationships all with a smile and catchy melody.

BILL HORIST (music) : www.billhorist.net

Seattle guitarist, BILL HORIST is an improviser/composer/performer in a wide array of genres including rock, jazz, contemporary chamber, avant garde, folk, new music and several subgenres within each.  He has appeared on over 100 recordings and has performed hundreds of concerts throughout North and Central America, Europe, and Japan. Over the past two decades, Bill has collaborated with a long list of notable musicians from around the world.  He has toured and recorded with a number of bands including Troot, Nobodaddy, Six Organs of Admittance, Phineas Gage, Axolotl, UnFolkUs, Zahir, Tablet, Nervewheel, Ghidra, Rollerball and the Paul Rucker Ensemble in addition to extensive solo activity.

MAGGIE SHARAR (visual artist) : instagram.com/mommamaggie

A channel to the divine. A mother. A healer. A creator. This is Maggie Sharar.
Her watercolor paintings illustrate lost and found
souls. They invite you into a healing journey. A woman’s truth.
Her feminine portraits and forms embody sovereignty and the juicy
experience of being human. Each piece holds the energy of trauma, love, magic, healing, and connection. But most of all Maggie’s work is a kinetic way to release energy. To feel the god particle and hold it in her hands.
Presently Maggie is selling her art work full time and thriving. She is also teaching both technical watercolor classes and energetic healing watercolor classes to guide her students through the tangible and spiritual.
