The Roots of BBQ Invitational is the evolution to a mini-fest from the Academy. Our founder Dr. Howard Conyers is inviting people to the community where he learned bbq to showcase The Roots of BBQ from a point of visual, while also celebrating barbecue people with music played by some of Clarendon & Sumter Counties top DJs. The Black BBQ Hall of Fame is coming back with Gumbo Jubilee Awards. One more newcomer activity will be the Backyard Distillery Corridor of Fame will be launched. Media will recorded during the event. Security will be provided.
