The Roots Art Show

Join us on April 23rd from 3pm-7pm at The Horticulture Center for The ROOTS Art Show. The ROOTS Art Show is a collaborative artistic experience - meaning we intend to highlight the work of different artists, working in a variety of mediums. Black people are at the center of our focus at The ROOTS Art Show and our itinerary is meant to be a reflection of that. Besides art for sale, there will also be live paintings and performances!

Libations will be available at our open bar for a OPEN BAR, from 3 to 4pm. Wine and beer will be $5, after 4pm. We will also have chefs serving flavors of the diaspora so that you can leave with a full heart, as well as a full belly.

DRESS CODE: Come dressed in your best EARTH TONES to celebrate an Afrocentric Earth Day

EVENT DETAILS:

Tickets: General Admission $25 (plus processing fee) advance ticket available via Eventbrite. $30 ticket available at the door via Cash app, Venmo, Eventbrite or cash.

Wine Tasting Experience :$30 (plus processing fee)advance ticket available via Eventbrite.

Food & Drink: Food will be available to purchase from black owned chefs. $5 wine and beer will be sold after the free open bar.

Transportation: From Montgomery drive, turn right onto Belmont Mansion Dr. Belmont Mansion Drive turns slightly left and becomes Horticultural Center. Destination will be on the right. A parking lot with plenty of parking will be on the left across from the Horticulture Center.

Accessibility: The main entrance has a ramp and the space is easily accessible for a wheelchair. Bathrooms are near the main entrance and handicap accessible.

Health & Safety: Mask are optional, however encouraged. This event is half outside and half inside. Seating will be available outside, first come first serve.
