Get ready for an unforgettable evening with the Sampson Orchestra of Cambridge! Dive into the works of three famous composers of the 19th-century Austro-German symphonic tradition our in-person charity concert, The Romantic. Bring your friends and let the music sweep you away!

The Sampson Orchestra of Cambridge, conducted by Darrell Davison, will begin with Schumann's Manfred Overture (1848), and will be followed by Bruch's renowned Violin Concerto No.1 (1868), featuring rising star soloist Basil Alter. The second half of the concert comprises Bruckner's wonderful "Romantic" Symphony No.4 (1874). The local charity which will benefit from this concert is It Takes A City, which is a Cambridge Homelessness Partnership.
