It's been said that art is all around us. But how can advocates, practitioners and the public ensure that communities are able to understand themselves through artistic endeavors? How can a city embrace and express its rhythm, hue and spirit through art?
Join prominent members of Los Angeles' artistic community to discuss the role of arts and culture in public life, the value of the arts in public education, and the importance of arts advocacy to the health of a city.
A cocktail reception precedes the program.
Admission is free, but registration is required.
