Event description

Description

On Monday, August 7th, the River Project will celebrate another year of connecting the people of New York and visitors from around the world to the marvels and mysteries of the Hudson River.

We invite you to join us for our 2017 River Project Cruise aboard the Hornblower Hybrid. Like last year’s magical evening on the River and in New York Harbor, this event will be a celebration of our spectacular River, the City that it created and nourished in countless ways and our extraordinary community of friends and neighbors. Of course, like every River Project activity, this party will feature the creatures of the Hudson River.

We will also honor three special terrestrial friends of the Harbor and River and supporters of the work of The River Project and its colleagues to protect, preserve and restore the wildness of our aquatic resources and promote our understanding and enjoyment of the Hudson River estuary and its inhabitants. This year’s remarkable honorees are New York State Senator Brad Hoylman, Billion Oyster Project Director Pete Malinowski, and Author Mark Kurlansky.

For more information, email cathy@riverprojectnyc.org or call (917) 841-5720.

We look forward to seeing you on August 7th.

All ticket purchases are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law, and all proceeds go to support the marine science and environmental education efforts of The River Project
