Description
The Rise of the Micro-Entrepreneurs ...
New peer-to-peer marketplaces are empowering individuals to make money from pursuing their passions, allowing for more flexible careers and better lifestyles. Join Etsy, SideTour, and Kitchensurfing for an enlightening evening that will explore how these platforms are creating the next generation of micro-entrepreneurs, and how you as an entrepreneur or user could benefit.
Fast Company's Christina Chaey will be exploring the inspiring stories emerging from this growing freelance economy, as well as founder insights on how to build successful marketplaces. In a unique twist, we will invite users, such as Kitchensurfing’s chefs, Etsy’s sellers, and SideTour’s guides, to speak about their experiences using these platforms.
Attend this event if you’re looking to learn more about peer-to-peer marketplaces, get inspiration on how you can monetize from your passions, and meet like-minded people passionate about the sharing economy.
