The Ride for Homeless Heroes
Sat, April 22, 2017, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM CDT
The purpose of this benefit is to raise resources that will help the New Orleans Mission to better provide help for our heroes that have served our country, and fought for our freedom. We understand that many coming back from war experience extreme difficulty with adjusting back to a normal lifestyle. The veterans that come to us have often become unsure of how to manage their lives, and in many cases, seek out relief in ways that are not healthy, and all too often, deadly.
The New Orleans Mission continues to welcome in homeless veterans with open arms, and offer the critical support that is necessary for them to recover and transition back into the life that God intended for every one of us to have. The New Orleans Mission’s programs holistically meet the mental, physical, social, and spiritual needs of the individuals that are served.
100% of the resources that are raised with this event will be appropriated to this cause. Join us, and let us together make a way to honor our returning veterans by offering the care they deserve. The care they are often denied.
