ABOUT THE ARTIST & SHOW:
It's all about the music with Rick Fass and Pam Jefferies.
Although raised in Brooklyn, NY, Rick Fass is a native of St.Petersburg, Florida. His musical journey began at the ripe old age of 16 when he picked up his first guitar and as like most beginning guitarists of that era, Rick was heavily influenced by the many artists of the day especially Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bill Haley, The Ventures, Beatles, (anything) Motown, Clapton, Jeff Beck, and of course the great Carlos Santana. Rick also attended Berklee College of Music and performs regularly with many of the top bands in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. Rick also teaches guitar and repairs guitars and amplifiers.
When Pam Jefferies first opened that small red clarinet case, she knew at that time that music was going to be her destiny. Originally from the Midwest. Pam joined the United States Navy in 1981. Here she capitalized on her love for music where she performed with three US Navy Fleet bands playing Alto, Tenor, Baritone Sax and Soprano Sax, Clarinet, and Flute. In addition, she was the Drum Major for the Welcome Home Parade for the Gulf War. She has shared the stage at Sarasota's Van Wezel with many famous artists and also has also taught woodwind instruments at the Middle and High School level. Pam performs regularly in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
A perfect mixture of music and voice, The Rick and Pam Duo, blend together Rick's guitar prowess along with Pam's powerful vocals and musical ability. Together, they deliver an eclectic mix of music ranging from the 40's 50's 60's, 70's, Country, Blues, R&B, Jazz Standards, and more. The Duo plays in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.
